As the NFL season winds down, there are a few teams who are still undefeated. Who’s looking good to make it to the Super Bowl?
The New England Patriots
Bill Belichick
Bill Belichick is an American football coach who is the head coach of the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He has led the Patriots to eight Super Bowl appearances, winning six of them, most recently in February 2018. Belichick is widely considered to be one of the greatest coaches in NFL history.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He is one of only two players to win five Super Bowls (the other being defensive end Charles Haley), and he is the only player to win them all playing for one team. Brady has also been selected for eleven Pro Bowls, more than any other quarterback in NFL history.
The Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only team in the NFL who are undefeated so far this season. They have a record of 6-0 and are looking like they could be the team to beat this year. The Steelers have a balanced offense and a defense that is only giving up an average of 17 points per game. They have a tough schedule ahead of them, but if they can keep winning, they could be the first team to go undefeated in a season since the New England Patriots did it in 2007.
Mike Tomlin
Mike Tomlin (born March 15, 1972) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He is the 17th head coach in franchise history and has led the team to seven AFC North division championships, four AFC championships, and two Super Bowl victories: one over the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII following the 2008 season and then over the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV following the 2010 season.
Tomlin was born in Hampton, Virginia and attended Denbigh High School located in Newport News. He played college football at William & Mary where he received all-conference honors as a senior cornerback. Tomlin began his coaching career at Virginia Military Institute (VMI) working as a student assistant before being promoted to wide receivers coach. He then moved on to Memphis where he served under head coach Rip Scherer and assisted with defensive backs before becoming defensive coordinator for one season in 1999.
Ben Roethlisberger
Ben Roethlisberger was born in Lima, Ohio, on March 2, 1982. He is an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Miami University, and was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
The Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are the only team in the NFL that is undefeated so far this season. They have a record of 10-0 and are looking like the team to beat. The Packers have a strong offense led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers and a talented defense. They have won all of their games by at least seven points.
Mike McCarthy
Mike McCarthy is the head coach of the Green Bay Packers. He has been the Packers’ head coach since 2006, when he took over for Mike Sherman. McCarthy is a Super Bowl winner, having led the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
McCarthy is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He played college football at Baker University in Kansas. After coaching at several colleges, McCarthy began his NFL coaching career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1993. He then served as an offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers before being named head coach of the Packers in 2006.
Under McCarthy, the Packers have won six division titles and one Super Bowl.
Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers is the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. He is a two-time NFL MVP and is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He has led the Packers to four NFC Championships and one Super Bowl win.
