The NFL’s Top Teams

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America, and the highest professional level of American football in the world.

The New England Patriots

The New England Patriots have been the dominant force in the NFL for much of the past two decades. With six Super Bowl wins since 2001, including three in the past five years, the Patriots have established themselves as one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history.

Led by future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, the Patriots have a deep and talented roster that has allowed them to remain competitive year after year. In addition to Brady, other key players on the Patriots include wide receiver Julian Edelman, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and linebacker Dont’a Hightower.

While the Patriots have been extraordinarily successful over the past two decades, they have faced some challenges in recent years. In 2017, Brady was suspended for four games due to his involvement in the “Deflategate” scandal, and the team was also hit with severe penalties from the NFL. Despite these setbacks, the Patriots still managed to win their fifth Super Bowl of the Brady/Belichick era.

Looking to 2019, the Patriots once again appear to be one of the favorites to win it all. With Brady and Belichick still leading the way, don’t be surprised if the Pats add yet another Lombardi Trophy to their already impressive collection.

The Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference North division. It is the third-oldest franchise in the NFL, dating back to 1919, and is the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team based in the United States. Home games have been played at Lambeau Field since 1957.

The Packers are the last of the “small town teams” which were common in the NFL during the league’s early days of 1922 and 1933. Founded in 1919 by Earl “Curly” Lambeau and George Whitney Calhoun, the franchise traces its lineage to other semi-professional teams in Green Bay dating back to 1896. Between 1919 and 1920, the Packers competed against other semi-pro clubs from around Wisconsin and Michigan, before joining the American Professional Football Association (APFA), now known as NFC) for the 1921 season. Although Green Bay is by far the smallest market nationally for a professional sports team, Forbes ranked the Packers as America’s 10th most valuable sports franchise with regard to value at $2.35 billion as well as being fourth overall for profit generated at $355 million

The Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are currently the top team in the NFL. They have a 13-3 record and are the number one seed in the NFC. The Cowboys have one of the best offenses in the NFL, led by quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott. Their defense is also one of the best in the league, led by linebacker Sean Lee. The Cowboys have a chance to win the Super Bowl this year, and they are definitely the team to watch out for.

The NFL is full of talented players. It’s hard to narrow down the list to just a few, but here are the top players in the league. These are the players that are dominating the competition and setting the standard for others to follow.

Tom Brady

Token Tom Brady not only holds the most Super Bowl titles for a quarterback in NFL history, but he also has the most regular season wins, passing yards, and passing touchdowns of any player at his position. Even at 41 years old, Brady continues to dominate on the field. While his success is largely attributed to his incredible work ethic and discipline, it’s also due to his natural talent and gifts. Here’s a look at why Brady is considered one of the top players in NFL history.

##Height and Weight
At 6’4″, 225 pounds, Brady isn’t your prototypical NFL quarterback. In fact, he was considered too skinny to play the position when he first started out. However, Brady has used his height and weight to his advantage, often being able to see over defenses and make plays that other quarterbacks simply can’t make.

##Arm Strength
While Brady doesn’t have the strongest arm in the NFL, it’s certainly good enough to get the job done. His passes are accurate and on point, which is really all you can ask for from a quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers

There’s no doubt that Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He’s been a starter since 2008 and has led the Green Bay Packers to six division titles, four NFC Championship games, and a Super Bowl title. He’s also been named the NFL MVP twice and was named Super Bowl MVP in 2010.

Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott was born on November 29, 1993, in Sulphur, Louisiana. He is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Mississippi State University and was selected by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he set numerous franchise and NFL rookie records and helped the Cowboys to an NFC-best 13–3 record. In his second season, he made his first Pro Bowl as he led the Cowboys to an 11–5 record and another NFC East division title.

The NFL’s Top Coaches

Current head coaches in the National Football League who have won the most Super Bowls are Bill Belichick, with six victories, and Pop Warner, with five. Of the 32 NFL teams, 20 have never won a Super Bowl. Who are the coaches with the most wins in NFL history?

Bill Belichick

Bill Belichick is an American football coach who is the head coach of the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He is widely considered to be one of the greatest coaches in NFL history, and has led the Patriots to more divisional titles than any other head coach in NFL history, as well as to three Super Bowl victories. Belichick has been mentioned as one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Mike McCarthy

In 2018, McCarthy led the Packers to a 13–3 record and was named NFC Coach of the Year by the NFL 101 Awards. He has also been named NFC Coach of the Year five times by the AP (2011, 2007, 2006, 2002) and once by Sporting News (2007). McCarthy is one of only two coaches in NFL history to have won back-to-back Super Bowls, doing so with the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV and Super Bowl XLVI.

Jason Garrett

Jason Garrett (born March 28, 1966) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Princeton University and was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 1989. He has served as the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach for the Cowboys before being promoted to his current position during the 2010 season.
