Contents
There’s a lot of debate over who has the best offense in the NFL. The answer may surprise you.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the best NFL offense according to many experts. The reasons are many but can be broken down into a few key categories. They have a great offensive line, quarterback, and skill position players. They also have a great offensive scheme that often catches defenses off guard.
Jameis Winston
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston was the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and he is poised to lead the Bucs’ offense for years to come. Winston showed flashes of brilliance as a rookie, throwing for more than 4,000 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also ran for six touchdowns, showing off his dual-threat ability.
The Bucs have surrounded Winston with some talented offensive weapons, including wide receivers Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson. Evans is a big-bodied receiver who can go up and get the ball, while Jackson is a speedy downfield threat. Tampa Bay also has a solid running back in Doug Martin, who rushed for more than 1,400 yards in 2015.
With all of these offensive weapons at his disposal, Winston has the potential to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. If he can stay healthy and avoid turnovers, he could lead the Bucs to a division title or even a Super Bowl appearance in the near future.
Mike Evans
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the best offenses in the NFL, and a big part of that is because of wide receiver Mike Evans. Evans is a big, physical receiver who can make plays down the field and in the red zone. He’s also a great blocker, which helps the Buccaneers running game.
DeSean Jackson
The NFL season is in full swing and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking like a contenders. One of the main reasons for their success has been the play of wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
Jackson joined the Buccaneers this offseason after being released by the Washington Redskins. He has quickly became one of quarterback Jameis Winston’s favorite targets. Jackson is currently second in the NFL in receiving yards with 792.
The 30-year-old receiver is in his 11th season in the NFL and is showing no signs of slowing down. He is on pace for his second career 1,000-yard season and fourth Pro Bowl appearance.
Jackson’s playmaking ability has been a huge boost to the Buccaneers offense. He has already caught five touchdown passes, including a game-winning score against the New York Giants in Week 4.
The Buccaneers offense as a whole has been one of the best in the NFL this season. They are currently ranked fifth in total yards and seventh in points per game. They should only continue to get better as Jackson and Winston continue to develop their chemistry.
