Who Is The Best Kick Returner In The NFL?
After doing some research, we have come to the conclusion that the best kick returner in the NFL is Cordarrelle Patterson.
Devin Hester
Devin Hester, who was born on November 4, 1982, is a former American football wide receiver and return specialist. He was drafted in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, and spent eight seasons with the Bears from 2006 to 2013. Hester holds the NFL record for most all-time return touchdowns, with 20.
Ted Ginn Jr.
As of right now, the best kick returner in the NFL is Ted Ginn Jr. of the New Orleans Saints. In his career, he has returned244 kicks for 6,464 yards and six touchdowns. He also has 57 punt returns for 572 yards and two touchdowns.
Cordarrelle Patterson
Patterson was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He led the league in kickoff return yardage as a rookie and was selected to the Pro Bowl and named a first-team All-Pro. In his second season, he again led the league in kickoff return yardage and earned second-team All-Pro honors. Patterson has also played wide receiver and running back during his time with the Vikings, earning Pro Bowl honors as a receiver in 2016.
Dwayne Harris
Dwayne Harris is widely considered to be the best kick returner in the NFL today. A dynamic playmaker with a rare combination of speed, agility, and vision, Harris has consistently been one of the league’s most electric return men for years.
During his time with the New York Giants, Harris averaged an impressive 30.1 yards per return and took four kicks back for touchdowns. He also tallied over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and found the end zone nine times as a receiver and punt returner.
Now with the Dallas Cowboys, Harris looks poised to continue his reign as the NFL’s top return man. His career average of 28.6 yards per return is second only to Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, and he already has six touchdowns on just 83 career returns.
