At 6’7”, Brock Osweiler is tied for the tallest quarterback in NFL history. Osweiler was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with the Broncos, winning a Super Bowl ring in 2016. Osweiler then spent time with the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns before returning to Denver in 2019.
Standing at 6’5”, Dan McGwire is tied with Osweiler as the tallest quarterback in NFL history. McGwire was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 1991 and spent three seasons with the team. He appeared in just four games during his career, completing 27 of 48 passes for 310 yards and one touchdown. McGwire’s last season was in 1993.
At 6’4”, Josh Freeman is tied for third-tallest quarterback in NFL history. Freeman was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2009 and became the team’s starting quarterback midway through his rookie season. He went on to spend five seasons with Tampa Bay, throwing for over 10,000 yards and 80 touchdowns during his time with the team. Freeman also spent time with the Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, and Indianapolis Colts before retiring from football in 2017.

He completed 115 of 235 passes for 1,054 yards and five touchdowns in his career.
Josh Freeman
Joshua BC Freeman (born January 13, 1987) is a former American football quarterback. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Kansas State, and was the Wildcats’ starting quarterback for most of his junior and senior years.
Logan Thomas
The tallest quarterback in NFL history is 6’6” Logan Thomas of the Buffalo Bills. Thomas played college football at Virginia Tech, where he was a tight end before being converted to quarterback. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the 4th round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Thomas has also played for the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.

Interestingly, McGwire is also the brother of Baseball Hall of Famer Mark McGwire. Dan McGwire only played in two NFL games, both for the Seattle Seahawks in 1991. He completed just 11 of 31 pass attempts for a total of 174 yards and one touchdown.
Carson Wentz
Carson Wentz, who is 6’5”, was the tallest quarterback in the NFL draft when he was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016. He is currently tied with Brock Osweiler as the tallest QB in the league.
The 6’7” Osweiler was drafted in 2012 by the Denver Broncos and spent four seasons with them before signing with the Houston Texans in 2016. He started 14 games for the Texans that year but was traded to the Browns in 2017. He is currently a free agent.
