The Schedule
The Mississippi State baseball team has a busy schedule this season. They will be playing a total of 40 games, including 27 SEC games. The first game of the season is on February 14th against the University of Southern Mississippi.

The Team
The Mississippi State baseball team is made up of some of the most talented athletes in the country. They have a rich history and tradition, and are always a force to be reckoned with on the diamond. The team is made up of 25 players, all of whom are eager to get back out on the field and compete at the highest level.

Coaches
The Mississippi State baseball coaching staff is led by Head Coach Chris Lemonis. Lemonis is in his first season as the Bulldogs’ head coach, after being hired on June 28, 2018. He came to Starkville after leading Louisville to two consecutive College World Series appearances and a share of the 2017 ACC Atlantic Division title.
Mississippi State also features Associate Head Coach Gary Henderson and Assistant Coaches Jake Gautreau and Will Stokes. Henderson, in his 17th season with the Bulldogs, has served as MSU’s pitching coach since 2003 and added the title of associate head coach prior to the 2010 campaign. Gautreau enters his second year at MSU after serving as an assistant coach at Tulane in 2017. Stokes is also in his second year with the program after serving as a volunteer assistant with Alabama in 2017.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team represents Mississippi State University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The program is a member of the West Division of the Southeastern Conference. Mississippi State has qualified for twenty-seven NCAA tournaments including two College World Series appearances in 1975 and 2013. The Bulldogs play their home games on campus at Dudy Noble Field, Patricia and Wyatt decked out in maroon and white. The current head coach is Chris Lemonis.
