The MLB season is in full swing and there are a lot of great teams vying for first place. Who’s in first place in baseball right now?
American League
The American League is currently led by the Houston Astros, who are in first place with a record of 47-22. The Astros are followed by the New York Yankees (45-25), the Minnesota Twins (44-26), and the Boston Red Sox (43-28).
Baltimore Orioles
After a hot start to the season, the Baltimore Orioles have cooled off a bit but still find themselves in first place in the American League East. The Orioles are led by sluggers Manny Machado and Chris Davis, who have combined for 33 home runs so far this season. The team’s pitching staff has also been strong, with Kevin Gausman and Dylan Bundy leading the way.
