The first round of the playoffs will begin on Wednesday, October 3rd. The American League Wild Card Game will be at 8:08 p.m. ET on ESPN, followed by the National League Wild Card Game at 8:08 p.m. ET on TBS.
The AL Division Series will begin on Thursday, October 4th, with Game 1 of the best-of-five series between the Cleveland Indians and the Houston Astros at 1:05 p.m. ET on MLB Network. Later that day, Game 1 of the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees series will start at 7:40 p.m. ET on FS1.
Over in the NL, the division series will also start on Thursday with two games. The first match-up will be between the Chicago Cubs and the winner of Wednesday’s Wild Card Game at 4:38 p.m., also on MLB Network. Then, at 8:08 PM ET on FS1, it’ll be time for Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves to take the field for Game 1 of their best-of-five series
