America East Conference
Northeastern University Baseball competes as a member of the America East Conference (AEC). The AEC is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA’s Division I, with members located in the Northeastern United States. It was founded in 1979 as the Eastern College Athletic Conference-North (ECAC North), and rebranded to its current name in 1996.

2017 Season
Northeastern University’s 2017 baseball season was their first in the NCAA Division I, having moved up from Division III prior to the 2016 season. They played their home games at Friedman Diamond, located on campus in Boston, Massachusetts. The team was coached by Mike Glavine in his first year as Northeastern’s head coach. They finished the season 20–34 overall and 7–23 in conference play to finish in last place in the eight-team conference.

The Huskies have appeared in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship four times. Their best finish came in 2016, when they reached the College World Series.
