The team was established as the San Diego Rockets, an expansion team originally based in San Diego, in 1967. In 1971, the Rockets moved to Houston.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association, as a member of the league’s Western Conference Pacific Division. Founded in 1946 in Philadelphia, the Warriors relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1962 and took the city’s name, before changing its geographic moniker to Golden State in 1971. They play their home games at the Chase Center.

James Harden

James Harden is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Arizona State, where he was named a consensus All-American and Pac-10 Player of the Year in 2009. Harden was selected with the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

In 2012, he was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year with the Thunder and helped lead them to the NBA Finals. He was traded to Houston prior to the 2012–13 season. During his tenure with the Rockets, he became one of the NBA’s most prolific scorers and earned recognition as one of the league’s best all-around players as he was named to eight consecutive All-Star teams, won back-to-back John R.
