NFL

1:00 PM Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
It’s time for some NFL football! The Green Bay Packers are on the road to take on the Detroit Lions in an NFC North matchup. This is always a big game, so make sure you tune in.
The Packers are coming off a tough loss to the Minnesota Vikings last week, while the Lions were able to get a win against the New York Giants. Both teams will be looking for a victory in this one, so it should be a great game.
Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers is always a threat, so the Lions defense will have their hands full. On the other side of the ball, Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford has been playing well lately and he will look to keep that going against the Packers.

In a matchup of two of the NFC’s best teams, the Dallas Cowboys travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. The Cowboys are coming off a tough loss to the New York Giants, while the Cardinals are coming off a big win against the Seattle Seahawks. Both teams will be looking to get back on track with a win in this one.

Tonight, the Los Angeles Clippers will take on the Milwaukee Bucks at the Staples Center. This will be the first time these two teams have faced off against each other this season. The Clippers are coming off of a loss to the Golden State Warriors, while the Bucks are coming off of a win against the Phoenix Suns.
7:00 PM Indiana Pacers at Charlotte Hornets
The Indiana Pacers take on the Charlotte Hornets at 7:00 PM EST today. This should be a great game between two Eastern Conference foes. Be sure to tune in!

The Brooklyn Nets travel to Boston to take on the Celtics at 7:30 PM EST.
8:00 PM Los Angeles Clippers at Minnesota Timberwolves

7:00 PM New York Rangers at New York Islanders
National Hockey League (NHL) action on Thursday evening features a matchup between Metropolitan Division rivals as the New York Rangers hit the road to face the New York Islanders. The Rangers come in off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night. Mika Zibanejad scored twice for New York in the game, with his second goal coming just 19 seconds into overtime to force the extra period. Alexandar Georgiev stopped 25 of the 28 shots he faced in the game, but took the loss to fall to 8-8-1 on the season.
The Islanders used a three-goal second period to roll to a 5-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night. Derick Brassard and Brock Nelson each had a goal and an assist for New York, with Thomas Greiss stopping 27 of the 29 shots he faced to improve to 12-3-1 on the season. The win was the fifth in a row for the Islanders, who have been one of the surprise teams in the NHL this season.
7:00 PM Nashville Predators at St. Louis Blues

Nashville enters play holding the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, three points ahead of both Dallas and Colorado. The Predators are coming off a 2-1 shootout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night. Filip Forsberg scored the lone goal for Nashville, while Pekka Rinne stopped 39 of 40 shots he faced. The Predators have gone 3-2-0 in their last five games.
St. Louis enters play tied with Winnipeg for first place in the Central Division with 91 points each. The Blues are coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to the New York Rangers on Tuesday night. Brayden Schenn scored the lone goal for St. Louis, while Jake Allen stopped 25 of 27 shots he faced. The Blues have gone 3-2-0 in their last five games
