The question on everyone’s mind is, is he out of jail yet?

NBA Youngboy’s Legal History
NBA Youngboy, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, has been in and out of jail since he was a teenager. In 2015, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison for violating his probation. He was released early in 2018 but was then arrested again in 2019 for assault and weapons charges.
2017 arrest for drug and gun possession
In August 2017, NBA Youngboy was arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on charges of drug and gun possession. Police reportedly found marijuana, codeine, and a handgun in the rapper’s car. He was released on $75,000 bail.
The case is still pending. If convicted, NBA Youngboy could face up to 20 years in prison.
2018 arrest for assault and kidnapping
In April 2018, NBA Youngboy was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree assault and one count of kidnapping stemming from an incident in February 2018, in which he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend. The charges were later dropped.
In September 2018, NBA Youngboy was arrested again on a charge of menacing after he allegedly issued a death threat to another man. The charge was later dropped.
NBA Youngboy’s Recent Arrest
NBA Youngboy, real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was arrested on Saturday in Tallahassee, Florida. The 20-year-old rapper is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and battery. This is not the first time NBA Youngboy has been in trouble with the law.
2019 arrest for drug and gun possession
In 2019, NBA Youngboy was arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on drug and gun possession charges. In February of that year, he was pulled over by police for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of marijuana and a loaded handgun. He was arrested and released on bond.
This is not the first time NBA Youngboy has been in trouble with the law. In 2016, he was arrested on assault charges after a fight with another teenager. In 2017, he was arrested on charges of reckless driving and firearm possession.
Despite his legal troubles, NBA Youngboy has continued to find success as a rapper. His album “AI Youngboy” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2017.
2019 arrest for probation violation
On February 5, 2019, it was reported that NBA Youngboy had been arrested in Atlanta, Georgia for a probation violation. The violation was in connection to a shooting that took place in Miami, Florida in 2016. NBA Youngboy was on probation for that incident at the time of his 2019 arrest.
If convicted of the probation violation, NBA Youngboy could face up to 10 years in prison. He is currently being held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 4, 2019.
NBA Youngboy’s Current Legal Status
NBA Youngboy was arrested on October 26th, 2020 in Los Angeles, California on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Louisiana. He is currently being held without bail and is facing extradition to Louisiana.
In jail awaiting trial
On February 5, 2020, NBA Youngboy was arrested and charged with five counts of attempted first-degree murder stemming from a drive-by shooting that took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on November 3, 2016. He is currently awaiting trial in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Facing up to 10 years in prison
The 20-year-old Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, is currently facing up to 10 years in prison after being indicted on two counts of attempted first-degree murder in March 2019. The charges stem from a drive-by shooting that occurred in October 2016, when Gaulden was still a juvenile. If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
