The Eastern Conference is up first today in the NBA Playoffs. The first game is between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics are the favorites to win, but the 76ers have been playing well lately. The second game is between the Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Raptors are the better team, but the Cavaliers have LeBron James, so anything can happen.

The Boston Celtics are an American professional basketball team based in Boston, Massachusetts. The Celtics compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. Founded in 1946 as one of the league’s original eight teams, the team play their home games at TD Garden, which they share with the National Hockey League (NHL)’s Boston Bruins. The Celtics are one of the most successful teams in NBA history; the franchise has won the most championships in league history with 17, accounting for 23.9 percent of all NBA championships since the league’s founding.
Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Toronto, Ontario. The Raptors compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. They play their home games at the Scotiabank Arena, which they share with the NHL’s Maple Leafs. The team was established in 1995 as part of the NBA’s expansion into Canada, along with the Vancouver Grizzlies. Since the Grizzlies relocated to Memphis, Tennessee in 2001, the Raptors have been the only Canadian-based NBA team.
The Raptors finished as runners-up in the NBA Finals in 2019, losing to the Golden State Warriors in six games. They had earlier reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2016 and 2018, losing both times to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Raptors hold several franchise records including most wins (58) and losses (24) in a season, worst regular season record in franchise history (21–61), second longest playoff run (16 consecutive seasons), best single-season statistical performance (52–20 record during 2006–07 season).

The Philadelphia 76ers are a professional basketball team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They play in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 76ers have won three NBA championships, with their first coming in 1955. The team joined the NBA in 1949 as a member of the Eastern Division.
Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are a professional basketball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Bucks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Central Division. The team was founded in 1968 as an expansion team, and play at the Fiserv Forum. Former U.S. Senator Herb Kohl was the long-time owner of the team, but on April 16, 2014, a group led by billionaire hedge fund managers Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry agreed to purchase a majority interest in the team from Kohl, pending approval from the NBA Board of Governors. The sale was approved by the board on April 16, 2014. The Bucks have won one league title (1971), two conference titles (1971 and 1974), and 13 division titles (1971–1974, 1976, 1980–1986, 2001).
