Krejci’s goal was his second of the game and third point of the night. Boston goaltender Tuukka Rask made 28 saves on 30 shots.
With the win, the Bruins improve to 33-6-6 on the season and remain in first place in the NHL standings. The Sabres, who have now lost four straight games, drop to 20-20-7 on the year.

The Tampa Bay Lightning is a professional ice hockey team based in Tampa, Florida. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Lightning were established in 1992 as an expansion team and joined the NHL in order to keep an NHL franchise from moving from the city of St. Louis to them (as had been previously announced). The Lightning have appeared in the Stanley Cup Finals four times, winning twice in 2004 and 2020.
