HD quality
NHL.tv offers two stream options for games – Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD). HD offers a higher quality picture, up to 60 frames per second, while SD is a lower quality picture, up to 30 frames per second. If you have a slower internet connection, you may want to choose the SD option so that the picture does not freeze or buffer.
Live and archived games
NHL.tv lets you watch live out-of-market games and on-demand replays. You can also choose to listen to English or home broadcast feeds, and follow along with live stats. If you’re a fan of a particular team, you can sign up for their “Follow Your Team” package, which gives you access to 40 out-of-market games plus the option to add the NHL Network.
Multiple camera angles
NHL.tv gives viewers the option to watch games from multiple camera angles. You can choose between the main broadcast feed, or switch to an “alternate” game feed that gives you access to different camera angles. This can be especially useful if you’re trying to keep track of a specific player on the ice, or if you want to see the action from a different perspective.
