When network television broadcasts of Stanley Cup playoff games began on a regular basis in the United States during the early 1960s, they were typically limited to one or two games per series, featuring whichever teams happened to be playing at Madison Square Garden in New York City (which also served as host to most playoff games during that era).
CBC
The CBC will be broadcasting the NHL playoffs this year. The schedule is as follows:
