Serena Williams
Serena Williams has won the most Grand Slam singles titles of any tennis player in history,male or female. She has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, more than any other player in the Open Era. Williams has also won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles, all with her sister Venus Williams, and the pair are unbeaten in Grand Slam doubles finals.

Serena Williams has 72 overall titles, more than any other female tennis player in history.
Grand Slam titles
Serena Williams has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the most by any player in the Open Era, and the second-most of all time behind Margaret Court (24). She has won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles, all with her sister Venus Williams, and the pair are unbeaten in Grand Slam doubles finals. As of February 2018, they had also won four Olympic gold medals, although only two were achieved while playing together.
Margaret Court
Margaret Court is a former professional tennis player from Australia. She is considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Court won 24 Grand Slam singles titles, which is more than any other player in history, male or female.
Overall titles
Ms. Court holds the record for the most Grand Slam singles titles with 24, a record she shares with Serena Williams. She also has the most combined titles of any player, male or female, with 62.
Grand Slam titles
Margaret Court has the record for the most Grand Slam titles in tennis with 24, a record that has stood since 1975. Court, who is from Australia, won 13 of her titles at the Australian Open, 11 at Wimbledon, and four at the U.S. Open. She also won three mixed doubles Grand Slam titles.
Steffi Graf
German tennis player Steffi Graf has the most titles with 22. She is followed by Serena Williams with 21, then Margaret Court with 20, and finally Billie Jean King with 18.
Overall titles
Graf is one of only five women (and the only German) to have won all four Grand Slam singles tournaments, sometimes known as the “Career Golden Slam”. She is also regarded as the greatest female tennis player of all time by many commentators, players and sportswriters. In 1988, she became the first and only tennis player to achieve the Golden Grand Slam by winning all four Grand Slam singles tournaments and the Olympic gold medal in a single calendar year. Furthermore, she is the only tennis player to have won each Grand Slam tournament at least four times.

She went on to win 22 more Grand Slams during her career, which is an all-time record for female tennis players. In total, Graf won 107 professional singles titles and 11 Grand Slam doubles titles. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2004.
Billie Jean King
Billie Jean King is an American former professional tennis player. She is considered one of the greatest female tennis players of all time. King won 39 Grand Slam titles, including 12 singles, 16 women’s doubles, and 11 mixed doubles titles. She also won the singles title at the inaugural WTA Tour Championships.King was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1987.

As of 2019, the American professional tennis player Billie Jean King has won 129 singles titles, which is more than any other female tennis player in history.
Grand Slam titles
King has a total of 39 Grand Slam titles, which is more than any other female tennis player in history. She has won a record 20 Wimbledon singles titles, and has also won the US Open five times, the French Open three times, and the Australian Open twice. In addition to her singles victories, King has also been very successful in doubles and mixed doubles play, winning a total of 16 Grand Slam titles in those disciplines.

Chris Evert holds the record for the most female tennis titles with 157 victories. Evert won her first grand slam at the age of 18, and would go on to win a total of 18 grand slam titles. She was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 1995.

She won 18 Grand Slam singles championships and 32 major women’s doubles titles, more than any other player in tennis history except Margaret Court. Evert reached 34 Grand Slam finals, more than any other female player in tennis history.
