Personal life

Scott Hall was married three times and had five children. In 1971, he married Cheryl Pitner; the couple had two sons, Cody and Cullan. They divorced in 1988. In 1989, he married Dana Lee Burgio; the couple had one son, Jake, and one daughter, Rebecca. They divorced in 2001. In 2003, he married Janiceanting-Bailey; the couple had one son, Michael, and one daughter, Olivia.

Hall struggled with substance abuse for much of his life, particularly alcohol. In an interview with Sports Illustrated in 2002, he stated that he had been sober since 1986. However, in May 2010, it was revealed that Hall had relapsed and was drinking again.
