Reigns is a three-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time United States Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, and a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion.

During his time in developmental territories FCW and NXT, he won the Florida Tag Team Championship twice with Donny Marlow. Upon Reigns’ main roster debut alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as The Shield, he won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Rollins. After Rollins and Ambrose went on to hold singles titles while Reigns remained Tag Team Champion, fans began to turn on him; upon losing the title to The Wyatt Family at Elimination Chamber 2014 due to interference from Ambrose; fans chanted “We want Roman” at Ambrose during his subsequent title defenses as many felt Reigns should have back been pursuing singles gold rather than tag team gold. As part of The Shield’s break up storyline, Reigns turned heel after he superkicked Ambrose due to their matches often ending in inconclusive finishes because of outside interference or Reborn by Factions rules; this event resulted in mixed reactions from audiences due to Reigns not physically attacking Rollins prior or afterwards despite both being heels at that point which caused some confusion among fans if it was supposed to be a face or heel turn for Reigns.
