Find a large piece of plywood.
You will need a large piece of plywood that is at least 4 feet by 8 feet. This will be the base of your stage. You can find this plywood at any home improvement store.
You will also need some 2x4s and 2x6s to build the frame of your stage. Make sure to get enough lumber to build a sturdy frame. You will also need some screws or nails to assemble the frame.
Next, you need to cover the plywood with a sheet of black poster board or black construction paper. This will be the basis for your stage mat. You can also use black felt for a softer mat.
Now you are ready to start decorating your stage! You can add WWE logos, WWE posters, or anything else you want to make it look like a real WWE stage. Be creative and have fun!
Cut out a rectangle in the plywood using a saw. This will be the base of your stage.
Now you will need to create the 4 posts that will support the top of your stage. To do this, cut 4 equal pieces of wood that are 2 feet tall. These will be your posts. Nail or screw these onto the corners of your stage.
Now you need to create the top of your stage. Cut out a rectangle of plywood that is 6 feet by 4 feet. This will be the top of your stage
Nail or screw this piece of plywood onto the top of your posts.
You have now created the basic structure of your stage!
Cut four pieces of 2x4 lumber to be the same height. These will be the legs of your stage.
Cut four pieces of 2x4 lumber to be the same height. These will be the legs of your stage. Place two of the legs on top of each other and screw them together using 3-inch wood screws. Repeat this step with the remaining two legs.
Next, cut four pieces of 4x4 lumber to be the same length as the 2x4s you just cut. These will be the beams that run along the top of your stage and support your platform. Place two of the 4x4s on top of each other and screw them together using 3-inch wood screws. Repeat this step with the remaining two 4x4s.
Now, cut six pieces of 2x6 lumber to be the same length as the 4x4s you just cut. These will create ledges on each side of your stage that wrestlers can use to perform signature moves. Place two of the 2x6s on top of each other and screw them together using 3-inch wood screws. Repeat this step with the remaining four 2x6s.
Next, cut one piece of plywood to be the same length and width as your ledges (the 2x6s). This will be your platform. Secure it to the ledges using construction adhesive and 1-inch wood screws driven through washers.
Finally, paint or otherwise decorate your stage however you like!
Nail the legs into the base of the plywood rectangle.
Just like in professional wrestling, the key to putting on a good show is all in the details. A great way to make your home WWE stage more realistic is by adding some finishing touches that will really make it pop. Here are some ideas to get you started:
-Nail the legs into the base of the plywood rectangle. This will give the stage some height and make it look more like an actual ring.
-Paint thestage with a color scheme that represents your favorite WWE wrestler. For example, if you’re a fan of John Cena, you could paint your stage blue and white.
-Hang curtains around the perimeter of the stage to give it a more dramatic effect. You can even add spotlights if you want to get really fancy!
-Addpyro effects by attaching strings to small firecrackers and igniting them when wrestlers make their grand entrance onto the stage. Just be sure to do this outside and away from any flammable materials!
Cut out a small rectangle in the center of the plywood. This will be the entrance to the stage.
WWE stages are unique in that they are often very intricate, with many different levels and plenty of places for pyrotechnics. This can make them difficult to recreate at home, but with a little bit of creativity and some elbow grease, it is definitely possible!
Here are the supplies you will need:
-Plywood
-2x4s
-Duct tape
-Spray paint
-Construction adhesive
-Carpeting
First, cut out a small rectangle in the center of the plywood. This will be the entrance to the stage. Then, use the 2x4s to create a frame around the perimeter of the plywood. Make sure that the frame is level and secure it with duct tape.
Next, spray paint the entire structure black. Once the paint is dry, glue down pieces of carpeting to create a nonslip surface. Be sure to use construction adhesive rather than regular glue, as it will be much more durable. You can also add some embellishments like stars or Stripes with additional duct tape or paint.
Decorate the stage however you like!
Now that you have your WWE stage, it’s time to get creative and decorate it however you like! You can use paint, markers, construction paper, streamers, and anything else you can think of to make your stage unique. Let your imagination run wild!
Once you’re done decorating, it’s time to test out your new WWE stage. Invite some friends over and put on a show! See who can put on the best match and wow the crowd. With your very own WWE stage, the sky is the limit!
