-Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Revival retained their titles against Heavy Machinery in a non-title match. After the match, The New Day attacked Heavy Machinery, with Big E hitting an elbow drop on Otis off the top rope.
-In a backstage segment, Sami Zayn complained to Shane McMahon about not getting a one-on-one match with WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins. McMahon said he would take it under consideration.
-Roman Reigns defeated Baron Corbin by disqualification after Corbin used a steel chair on Reigns. Corbin continued to beat down Reigns after the match until Drew McIntyre ran out to make the save.
-WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match. After the match, Kingston was attacked by Randy Orton, who hit him with an RKO out of nowhere.
Who lost on WWE Smackdown Live?
Roman Reigns opened the show by delivering a promo in the ring. He talked about how happy he was to be back in the arena, but said that he wasn’t there to celebrate. He said that he was there to fight and challenged anyone in the locker room to come out and fight him. No one answered his challenge, so Reigns left the ring.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre was shown watching Reigns’ promo on a monitor. Dolph Ziggler approached him and asked him if he was going to answer Reigns’ challenge. McIntyre said that he would answer the challenge later tonight.
The Miz was shown backstage talking to Shane McMahon. McMahon told Miz that he would be facing Daniel Bryan later tonight in a rematch from last week’s show. Miz said that he would make Bryan tap out again tonight.
In the arena, Becky Lynch made her entrance for a match against Ruby Riott. The match ended when Lynch applied an armbar on Riott and Riott tap out.
After the match, Lynch was interviewed backstage. She was asked about her upcoming match against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35. Lynch said that she wasn’t worried about Flair and that she would beat her at WrestleMania 35 to become the undisputed WWE Women’s Champion.
