Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers joined the NFL in 1976, they have made it to the playoffs 14 times, winning the NFC championship six times. They appeared in Super Bowls XV and XXXVII, both times losing to the Oakland Raiders.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions have not yet won a Super Bowl, despite having made it to the playoffs ten times since 1957. Their most recent appearance was in 2016, when they lost in the first round to the Seattle Seahawks. The Lions have a long history of futility, with only one NFL Championship to their credit, which came all the way back in 1957. Since then, they have endured some of the worst seasons in NFL history, including a 0-16 campaign in 2008.
Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are a professional American football team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. The Browns play their home games at FirstEnergy Stadium, which opened in 1999, with administrative offices and training facilities in Berea, Ohio. The Browns’ official colors are brown, orange, and white. They are unique among the 32 member franchises of the NFL in that they do not have a logo on their helmets and are the only team named after a specific person, original coach Paul Brown.
The franchise was founded in 1945 by businessman Arthur B. McBride and coach Paul Brown as a charter member of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC). The Browns dominated the AAFC, compiling a 47–4–3 record in the league’s four seasons and winning its championship title in each of them. When the AAFC folded after the 1949 season, the Browns joined the National Football League along with three other AAFC teams – the San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Colts – for that season only. In 1950, Cleveland was awarded an NFL franchise after four other cities submitted bids for consideration: Miami (which would get an NFL expansion team about 40 years later), Buffalo (now home to two teams), Los Angeles (which would get two teams about 50 years later), and New York City (which would eventually be awarded two teams).
The Browns began play in their inaugural season as part of the 1950 NFL season. Their first ever game was against their intrastate rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals; they won 17–16 on Lou Groza’s field goal with three seconds left to play. Since joining the NFL in 1950 as an expansion team along with three other teams from the defunct All-America Football Conference – including fellow Ohio team Cincinnati Bengals – they have yet to make it to or win a Super Bowl despite having made it to and losing eight AFC Championship Games most recently in January 2002 while led by then-head coach Butch Davis and star wide receiver Josh Cribbs; this is currently tied with Minnesota Vikings for being 0–8 all time along with four additional losses prior to 1967 when Super Bowls I through IV were not numerically numbered as such but instead referred to by Roman numerals until Super Bowl V when Arabic numerals were used for such purposes until present day where Arabic numerals are used for such purposes after every game starting from Super Bowl XL following on from XLI; out of those twelve appearances/losses including eight losses since 1967 despite having made it there eight times consecutively from 1986 through 1995 while coached by Marty Schottenheimer who also coached them during their 2002 playoff appearance/AFC Championship Game loss mentioned earlier; this is currently tied with Minnesota Vikings again for 2nd most all time behind only New England Patriots who have also made it ten times out of thirteen total appearances but have won five times which is more than any other team has done so far. Cleveland has never won a playoff game since returning to the NFL playoffs following a 13-year drought from 2002 through 2014 while led by then-head coaches Butch Davis from 2002 through 2004 who took over from previous head coach Chris Palmer who coached them during their expansion season year of 1999 where they finished 7-9 but improved upon that record during his second year as head coach leading them to an 8-8 finish before regressing back down to 7-9 during his third and final year as head coach before being replaced by then-new head coach Butch Davis due to poor performance following consecutive seven win seasons; then Bill Belichick from 1991 through 1995 who led them to five consecutive playoff appearances including three AFC Championship Game appearances losing all three times while coached by him before leaving following 1995 season prior being replaced by current New England Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick who took over as New England Patriots’ head coach one year later due mainly in part due owner Art Modell’s decision to relocate franchise following 1996 season despite protests held by fans trying try and prevent such move while being replaced by current Green Bay Packers’ head coach Mike McCarthy who took over one year later,” he said after taking office on Monday evening.”

The Falcons have appeared in two Super Bowls during that time, Super Bowl XXVIII and Super Bowl XLIII.
The franchise began play in 1966 as the Atlanta Falcons. Home games were first played at Atlanta–Fulton County Stadium during the 1966 NFL season. Under new ownership, Arthur Blank’s Blank Family of Businesses purchased the team in 2002 after then-owner Taylor Smith died. In 2005, Woodruff sold his controlling interest to Arthur Blank who then became CEO and president of AMB Group. During his tenure as owner since 2006, he has overseen major changes to organization including a new stadium project.

The team initially struggled, winning only seven games in their first two seasons. After posting a then-franchise worst 1–15 record in 1996, they rebounded to 7–9 in 1997. The Panthers finally achieved a winning record in 2003, when they went 11–5 under John Fox and captured their first NFC Championship Game appearance, which they lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion New England Patriots 29–21. Since then, the Panthers have reached the playoffs six times, advancing to four NFC Championship Games and two Super Bowls. They have won six division titles, one conference championship, and were awarded an NFC Championship Game berth after posting a league-best 13–3 record during the 2015 season.
