Aaron Hernandez

His arrest

The trial
In May 2014, Hernandez was indicted by a grand jury in the shooting death of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancée. Lloyd’s body was found in an industrial park near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. On August 22, 2014, Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder for the killing of Lloyd. On April 15, 2015, Hernandez was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
His death
On April 19, 2017, Hernandez was found hanged in his cell at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts, where he was serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. His death was ruled a suicide.
O.J. Simpson
On June 12, 1994, NFL player O.J. Simpson killed his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. Simpson was arrested and charged with their murders, but he was ultimately acquitted of the crime.
The murders
On the night of June 12, 1994, Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were stabbed to death at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Simpson was arrested and charged with their murders the following day. He was tried for the crime in 1995 and found not guilty, but was later held liable for damages in a civil suit.
The trial
In June 1994, Simpson’s ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman were murdered at Brown’s home in Brentwood, California. The murder
Ray Lewis is a former American football linebacker who played for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He was indicted for murder after a fight in Atlanta on January 31, 2000, in which two men were stabbed to death. The case was brought to trial, and Lewis pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of obstruction of justice.
The trial
After the two week trial, the jury found Lewis not guilty on all charges.
His current life
Raymond Anthony Lewis Jr. (born May 15, 1975) is a former American football linebacker who played all of his 17-year professional career for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Miami, and earned All-America honors. Lewis was drafted by the Ravens in 1996 and became the team’s second linebacker to win Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year Award. He was a two-time King of Football and led Ravens in tackles eight times.
Lewis was considered one of the best defensive players of his generation and is considered one of the greatest linebackers of all time. During his career, he won one Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2013, was selected to thirteen Pro Bowls, and is one of only two players to win AP Defensive Player of the Year multiple times. He also became the first player in NFL history to play in a Pro Bowl and a Super Bowl within the same calendar year twice (2000 and 2003). After he retired following Baltimore’s victory in Super Bowl XLVII, he was immediately inducted into their Ring of Honor later that year on September 22.
