Fall was not always destined to be a basketball player. In fact, he only started playing the sport when he was 16 years old. But, once he started, there was no stopping him. He quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the best players in his country. This led to him receiving a full scholarship to play basketball at the University of Central Florida.
After two successful years playing college basketball, Fall declared for the 2019 NBA Draft. He went undrafted but was quickly snapped up by the Boston Celtics who signed him to a two-way contract. This meant that he would split his time between playing for the Celtics and their G-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
Fall made his debut for the Celtics in October 2019 and has since gone on to establish himself as a fan favorite. His impressive height (he has an 8-foot wingspan!) and shot-blocking ability make him a unique player who is exciting to watch. With Fall continuing to develop his game, it will be interesting to see how far he can go in the NBA!
Boban Marjanovic
Boban Marjanovic is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He stands 7’3″ tall and weighs 290 lbs. He is currently the tallest player in the NBA.
Kristaps Porzingis
Kristaps Porzingis is a 7’3″ Latvian professional basketball player who plays for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. He is currently the tallest player in the NBA. Porzingis was drafted 4th overall by the New York Knicks in the 2015 NBA draft. He played for the Knicks for four seasons before being traded to the Mavericks in 2019.
