Alexander Ovechkin

Alexander Ovechkin is widely regarded as the best player in the NHL today. The Washington Capitals captain is a three-time MVP and has led the league in scoring eight times. He has one of the most powerful shots in the NHL, and he’s not afraid to use it, as evidenced by his NHL-record 1,277 shots on goal in the 2018-19 season. Ovechkin is also a physical force, as he’s not afraid to get involved in altercations on the ice. This combination of skill and physicality makes him a nightmare for opposing teams.

Carey Price is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who plays for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the Hart Memorial Trophy and Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s most valuable player and best goaltender, respectively, in 2015. He also captured both honours in 2014. A first-round selection of the Canadiens at the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Price made his NHL debut in 2007 and assumed starting duties for Montreal midway through the 2007–08 season. With Price in net during the 2014–15 season, Montreal won a club-record 53 games en route to winning their 24th Stanley Cup championship.
