WIAA Boys Basketball Rankings: The Top 10 Teams

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association has released its boys Basketball Rankings for the week of Jan. 28.
Introduction
In order to be eligible for the WIAA State Basketball Tournament a team must first win their District Championship. The WIAA Boys Basketball Rankings are released every Monday and they determine which teams are eligible for the State Tournament The Top 10 teams in each of the 7 WIAA classifications are ranked and the rankings are used to seed the teams in the State Tournament

Gonzaga is the top-ranked team in the state, followed by Bellevue at number two. Skyline comes in at third, with University and Central Catholic rounding out the top five. The bottom five teams are Camas, Richland, Olympia, Kamiak, and Walla Walla.

C In order to complete a successful season it takes more than just the starting five players. It takes a team effort from the entire bench. Everyone has to do their part in order for the team to win. The following is a list of the top 5 players that are coming off the bench and making a big contribution to their team’s success.
