Harris is a five-tool player who can do it all on the baseball field He’s a great hitter with power, speed, and a strong arm. He’s also a great fielder and has been clocked at 6.5 seconds in the 60-yard dash Harris was named NJCAA Region 5 Player of the Year in 2016 and is one of the top prospects in the region.
2. David Dominguez, RHP, Chandler-Gilbert CC
Dominguez is a hard-throwing right-hander who can reach 95 mph with his fastball. He also has a sharp Breaking Ball and excellent control. Dominguez was named co-MVP of the NJCAA Region 5 tournament in 2016 and is one of the top pitching prospects in the region.

1. San Jacinto College Hurricanes (1989-present)
The San Jacinto College Hurricanes have been one of the most successful NJCAA Region 5 baseball teams in recent years They have won 9 NJCAA Region 5 championships since they started play in 1989 and have made 16 trips to the NJCAA World Series They have also produced a number of Major League Baseball players, such as Houston Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel and New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius.
2. Howard College Hawks (1951-present)
The Howard College Hawks are one of the most historic NJCAA Region 5 baseball teams They began play in 1951 and have won 7 NJCAA Region 5 championships. They have also made 18 trips to the NJCAA World Series which is the most of any team in region 5 history. A number of Major League Baseball players have come from Howard College, such as Texas Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels and St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols

The Cisco College Wranglers are another one of the longtime NJCAA Region 5 baseball teams They began play in 1967 and have won 3 NJCAA Region 5 championships. They have also made 11 trips to the NJCAA World Series which is tied for second most in region 5 history. A number of Major League Baseball players have come from Cisco College, such as Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria.
4. Grayson County College Vikings (1992-present)
The Grayson County College Vikings are one of the newer NJCAA Region 5 Baseball Teams but they have already made their mark on the region. They began play in 1992 and have won 2 NJCAAA Region 5 championships. They have also made 8 trips to the NJCAAA World Series which is tied for third most in region 5 history.
