Richmond infielder Matt Dacey is another player to Watch This Season The junior was an All-Conference selection last year after hitting .311 with 12 home runs and 33 RBIs. Dacey will be a key part of Richmond’s lineup this season as they look to make a return to the NCAA tournament
George Mason senior outfielder Ian Happ is one of the best all-around players in the conference. A10 baseball began in 1976 as a conference of just four teams: Virginia Tech West Virginia Rutgers, and Temple. Since then, the conference has grown to include thirteen teams: VCU, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, La Salle, Fordham, George Mason Dayton, Massachusetts, Rhode Island George Washington Duquesne, St. Joseph’s, and Campbell.

In terms of recent success, it’s hard to top the three programs that have won the Atlantic 10 regular season title in each of the last three years: Virginia Commonwealth, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
VCU has been to six straight NCAA Tournaments, including a trip to the 2016 College World Series The Rams have also won at least 40 games in each of the last six seasons.

Grant Lavigne, 1B, St. Bonaventure: Lavigne is one of the top hitters in the conference, batting .400 with eight home runs and 30 RBIs so far this season. He’s also been solid defensively, making just two errors in 29 games at first base.
Nick Dalesandro, OF/1B, Indiana State Dalesandro is one of the most versatile players in the A10, seeing time at both first base and all three field positions He’s hitting .361 with seven Home Runs and 31 RBIs, and has also stolen 11 bases.
Luke Lind, RHP, Davidson: Lind has been one of the best pitchers in the conference this season, going 6-1 with a 2.68 ERA in 10 starts. He’s struck out 70 batters in 67 innings pitched and has held opponents to a .229 batting average
Michael McCracken, LHP, George Mason McCracken has been dominant out of the bullpen for George Mason recording eight saves and a 0.77 ERA in 11 appearances. He’s struck out 22 batters in 23 innings pitched while allowing just seven hits (.090 opposing batting average).
