The Tssaa Baseball Rankings are out and your team is in the top spot! Here’s how to make sure they stay there.
The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) is a voluntary organization of public and private secondary schools in Tennessee that regulates and organizes athletic competitions. The organization was founded in 1925, and currently has more than 400 member schools.
The TSSAA Baseball Rankings are released each week, ranking teams in each classification based on their performance. The rankings are used to seed teams for the postseason tournament.
There is no formal ranking system for high school baseball teams in the state of Tennessee. However, there are several websites that provide informal rankings based on a variety of factors, including Strength of Schedule recent results, and overall record.
The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) released its first Baseball Rankings of the 2018 season on Monday morning.
The TSSAAsports.com baseball rankings for Week 7 of the 2019 season have been released. Houston (19-3) remains in the No. 1 spot in Class AAA after going 2-0 last week. Hardin Valley Academy (18-4) and Farragut (17-5) each moved up one spot to second and third, respectively, while Ravenwood (16-6) fell two spots to fourth. center>
In Class AA, Anderson County (20-3) is still the top team in the state after winning both of its games last week. Union City (19-3) and Giles County (18-4) are ranked second and third, respectively, while Tullahoma (16-6) rounds out the top four teams in the state.
Class A continues to be led by South Greene (19-2), which went 2-0 over the past week. Greeneville (16-4) is in second place, followed by Signal Mountain (15-5) in third and Polk County (15-5) in fourth.
Rhea County (17-4) remains atop the Class AAA rankings for the seventh straight week. Bradley Central (17-4), Walker Valley (15-6), and Dobyns Bennett (13--8) round out the top four teams in Class AAA this week.
The Tssaa Baseball Rankings are out and the top spot is occupied by the same team as last week. That team is the Arlington High School Eagles.
