NYPD and FDNY to Face Off in Hockey Game 2021

The NYPD and FDNY will be going up against each other in a hockey game on February 27th, 2021.

The Rivalry

Both the NYPD and FDNY are New York City institutions, and the two departments have a long-standing rivalry. The two departments will face off against each other in a Hockey Game on January 1, 2021. This will be the first time the two departments have faced off in a hockey game in over 20 years.

The NYPD currently holds the record for most wins, with 28 victories to FDNY’s 21. But FDNY is looking to even the score this year and take home their first win since 2014.

The Charity

This year’s NYPD vs. FDNY charity hockey game will take place on Sunday, January 31st at 3pm at Madison Square Garden The event has been organized by the NY Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, which provides support to the families of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

All proceeds from the game will go to the Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, so come out and support a good cause!
