The different levels of play offered by Blue Valley Rec Baseball

Blue Valley Rec Baseball offers a range of different levels of play, from tee ball and coach pitch to competitive travel baseball This makes it a great option for your child, regardless of their skill level.

Tee ball is the introductory level of play, for children ages 4-6. The focus is on learning the basic rules and skills of the game, in a fun and non-competitive environment. Children hit the ball off a tee, rather than being pitched to by another player.

Coach pitch is the next level up, for children ages 7-8. In this league, coaches pitch to their own team, at a slower speed than in regular baseball. This allows children to develop their hitting skills further before moving on to player-pitched baseball.

The final level offered by Blue Valley Rec Baseball is competitive travel baseball This is for children ages 9-12 who are serious about the sport and are looking for a more challenging experience. Travel teams play other teams in the area, and sometimes travel further afield for games and tournaments.
