The Facilities

De Jong Tennis is the perfect place for tennis enthusiasts of all levels. The facilities are top-notch and include 8 outdoor tennis courts, a clubhouse, and a pro shop. There is also a full-time tennis director on staff who can help you with anything you need.

The Courts

The professional staff of six full-time and two part-time coaches offers top-notch clinics and private instruction for tennis players of all levels, ages four and up. There are 12 well-maintained Har-Tru tennis courts (soft clay), four of which are lighted for night play.

The Shop

The shop at De Jong Tennis is fully stocked with the latest in tennis equipment and apparel. You’ll find everything you need to take your game to the next level, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to offer expert advice, and they’ll help you find the perfect gear to suit your individual playing style. We also offer a wide range of services, including racket stringing, repairs and customization.

The Café

The Café is open to public from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 2:00pm. It is a great place to have breakfast or lunch, and to catch up with friends. The menu is based on seasonal and regional produce, and the chef’s specials change daily. There is a beautiful garden setting, with an outdoor seating area that is perfect for summer days.

The Coaches

The Head Coach

Eric De Jong is the Head Coach at De Jong Tennis. He has been coaching tennis for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience at all levels. He has coached juniors, adults, and professional players, and has helped develop some of the biggest names in Canadian tennis. Eric is a certified Level 5 coach with Tennis Canada, and he is also a qualified performance coach. He has a passion for teaching and is always looking for new ways to help his students improve.

As Head Coach, Eric is responsible for the overall development of the De Jong Tennis program. He works closely with the other coaches to ensure that all of our students are receiving the best possible instruction. He also oversees the competitive programs and ensures that our teams are prepared to compete at the highest level. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Eric also serves as the Director of Racquet Sports at De Jong Athletic Club.

The Assistant Coaches

At De Jong Tennis, our assistant coaches are an integral part of our team. They work closely with our head coaches to develop and deliver training programs that are tailored to the needs of each individual athlete.

Our assistant coaches are highly skilled in both tennis and coaching, and they are passionate about helping our athletes reach their full potential. They are also talented communicators and motivators, which makes them perfectly equipped to help our athletes stay focused and motivated during their training.

The Program

At De Jong Tennis, we offer programs for tennis enthusiasts of all levels of experience, from beginner to competitive. We offer private, semi-private, and group lessons, as well as weekly clinics and camps. We also have a competitive junior team program for those who are interested in taking their game to the next level.

1 Lesson (1 hour): $75
5 Lessons: $325 (5% discount)
10 Lessons: $600 (10% discount)

Adult Clinic Membership:
$350/6-week session includes up to 4 clinics per week

Student Clinic Membership:
$250/6-week session includes up to 4 clinics per week

The Court Prices

Court prices are as follows:

-1 hour during the week – $17.50
-1 hour during the weekend – $22.00
-45 minutes during the week – $13.13

The Location

De Jong Tennis is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We are situated in the beautiful Vondelpark, close to the city centre. We offer a wide range of tennis programmes and services for all levels of players, from beginners to advanced. We also have a pro shop on site, where you can purchase all your tennis equipment and accessories.

The Hours

We are open Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 10:00pm. On Sundays, we are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
