On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, the newly-constructed Dickies Arena in Fort Worth Texas will host its very first basketball game The historic event will see the Texas Christian University (TCU) Horned Frogs take on the University of Pittsburgh Panthers in a non-conference matchup.

With a capacity of 14,500, Dickies Arena is one of the largest college basketball arenas in the state of Texas. The state-of-the-art facility features 72 suites, 2,200 club seats, and 990 loge boxes. The arena also has a robust audio and visual system that includes two LED video boards measuring approximately 27 feet wide by 48 feet tall.

“We are thrilled to be hosting the inaugural basketball game at Dickies Arena,” said arena General Manager Wes Wise. “It’s going to be a great night of collegiate basketball action and we can’t wait to show off our world-class facility to the TCU and Pittsburgh fans.”
