Did CM Punk Return to WWE?

There’s been a lot of speculation lately about whether or not CM Punk has returned to WWE. While we can’t say for sure one way or the other, we thought we’d take a look at the evidence and let you decide for yourself!

Introduction

It’s been almost three years since CM Punk left the WWE, and many fans are wondering if he’ll ever come back. While it’s impossible to know for sure what Punk is thinking, there are some signs that suggest he may be open to a return to wrestling. Let’s take a look at some of the evidence.

The Rumors

There have been a lot of rumors going around lately about whether or not CM Punk will be returning to WWE. Punk famously left WWE back in 2014, and has since gone on to pursue a career in mixed martial arts (MMA).

However, there has been a lot of speculation recently that Punk may be making a return to WWE. This is largely due to the fact that Punk’s wife, April Brooks (aka AJ Lee), recently retired from WWE, and many people believe that Punk may now be more willing to return to WWE now that his wife is no longer with the company.

Only time will tell if these rumors are true, but it certainly seems like there is a possibility that CM Punk could make his way back to WWE in the near future.

The Hype

Punk’s return to WWE on the Jan. 27, 2014 episode of WWE Raw was one of the most highly anticipated moments in recent WWE history. After being away from WWE for more than a year, Punk finally made his return to the company that he helped make famous.

Punk’s return was first teased on Jan. 26, when a fan in the crowd at WWE Raw held up a sign that read “CM Punk” with an arrow pointing to the ring. The next day, Punk made his return to WWE officially, interrupting a promo by The Authority and setting up a match against them at the Royal Rumble.

The Hype surrounding Punk’s return was huge, with many fans wondering if he would be able to live up to the expectations. After all, Punk had been away from WWE for over a year, and there was no telling if he would be able to perform at the same level as he did before.

However, Punk quickly proved that he was still one of the best in the business, putting on an excellent match against The Authority at the Royal Rumble and earning himself a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 30.

The Disappointment

On January 27, 2014, CM Punk walked out on WWE during the Monday Night Raw taping in Cincinnati, Ohio. This was following Punk’s request for a leave of absence being denied, and the feeling that he was being “buried” creatively. Since then, there have been small reports and sightings of Punk here and there, but nothing substantial – until now.

Conclusion

Based on the available evidence, it seems unlikely that CM Punk will return to WWE in the near future. Punk has made it clear that he is no longer interested in wrestling, and has instead focused on his new career in mixed martial arts. Additionally, WWE does not seem to be interested in bringing Punk back, as they have not made any public attempts to contact him.
