District 3 Hockey: Week 1 Highlights

The first week of district 3 hockey is in the books, and there were some great games. The top two teams in the district, Central and North, both won their games handily. Central defeated the East team 9-1, and North won 10-2 against West. In the other games, South beat East 5-3, and West won 8-3 against Central.

1. West York Bulldogs

The Bulldogs return a lot of experienced talent from last year’s team that made it all the way to the District 3 semifinals. They’ll be looking to take the next step this season and win a district title.

2. Central York Panthers

The Panthers are coming off a disappointing season in which they failed to make the playoffs. They’ll be looking to rebound this year and return to their winning ways.

3. Dallastown Wildcats

The Wildcats are another team that is coming off a down year. They’ll be looking to improve their play and get back to their winning ways.

District 3 Hockey: Week 1 Preview

The first week of district 3 hockey is upon us and there are some great matchups in store. In the A division, the top two teams from last year’s regular season the Central Reds and the Northern Whites, will face off in what is sure to be a hard-fought battle. The Reds are looking to defend their title, while the Whites are hungry for revenge after narrowly losing to the Reds in last year’s Championship game

In the B division, all eyes will be on the Eastside Eagles as they take on the Westside Wolverines. These two teams met in last year’s playoffs with the Eagles coming out on top, but the Wolverines have revamped their roster and are ready to take down their rivals.

District 3 Hockey: Week 1 Recaps

The first week of district 3 hockey is in the books, and there are already some clear contenders emerging. In the east division, the Scranton Knights got off to a hot start with a 5-2 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Minutemen. The Knights were led by sophomore forward Jake Kelley, who had two goals and an assist in the victory. Kelley is already off to a great start this season, and he will be one of the players to watch in the east division.

In the west division, the Hershey Bears got off to a strong start with a 4-1 win over the Harrisburg Senators. The Bears were led by junior forward Alex Ovechkin, who had two goals and an assist in the victory. Ovechkin is one of the best players in the district, and he will be a leading contender for the west division title.

The first week of district 3 hockey was exciting, and there are sure to be more great games in the weeks to come.
