Amazon has NFL Sunday Ticket available for purchase. You can find it in the Amazon Appstore.

Amazon and the NFL

Every autumn, as the weather begins to cool and the leaves start to change color, Americans begin looking forward to one thing: football season. For many, this means cheering on their favorite team every Sunday afternoon. But what if you don’t have cable? Can you still watch NFL games on Amazon?

Amazon’s relationship with the NFL

Amazon has been streaming Thursday Night Football games since the 2017 season. For the 2019 season, Amazon paid $130 million for the digital rights to 11 Thursday Night Football games, the same amount that Twitter paid in 2018. Amazon also has the ability to simulcast the CBS or Fox broadcast of Sunday afternoon games on its Prime Video platform.

However, Amazon does not currently have the rights to stream NFL Sunday Ticket, which is a package of all out-of-market Sunday afternoon games that are not being aired on local television. DirecTV currently has the exclusive rights to NFL Sunday Ticket, and there have been reports that Amazon has attempted to bid on those rights in the past.

Amazon’s Prime Video service

Amazon’s Prime Video service offers a variety of content, including movies, TV shows, and Amazon Originals. One thing that it doesn’t offer, however, is NFL Sunday Ticket.

NFL Sunday Ticket is a service that allows fans to watch every NFL game on Sundays. It’s available through DirecTV, but Amazon Prime members can’t get it through Prime Video.

If you want NFL Sunday Ticket, you’ll need to sign up for DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket Max package. This will give you access to all NFL games on Sundays, as well as a few other perks like Red Zone Channel and Fantasy Zone Channel.

It’s worth noting that Amazon does have a partnership with the NFL for Thursday Night Football games. These games are available to watch for free on Prime Video for all Amazon Prime members.
