The history of Hialeah Gardens baseball

Hialeah Gardens has a rich baseball history The first organized baseball team in Hialeah Gardens was the Hialeah All-Stars, which was founded in 1953. The team played its home games at Miami Stadium, which was located at the corner of NW 36th Street and NW 74th Avenue. The All-Stars were a semi-pro team that played in the Florida baseball Association.

In 1955, the Hialeah National Little League was established and began playing its games at White Field, which was located at the corner of W 12th Avenue and 66th Street. The National League consisted of four teams: the Orioles, Dodgers, Giants, and Yankees.
