How Big Is A Baseball Card?
A baseball card is a standard size of 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches.
Standard Sized Cards
The standard size for a baseball card is 2-1/2 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches tall. Cards from the early 1900’s can be found in a variety of sizes from as small as 1-5/8 inches wide by 2-5/8 inches tall up to 4 inches wide by 6 inches tall, with the vast majority of cards falling somewhere in between these extremes.
Oversized Cards
The size of a baseball card is 2-1/2 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches tall. Standard cards from Topps, Bowman, and most other manufacturers are made to these dimensions. The only notable exception is Upper Deck, whose cards are a bit smaller at 2-1/4 inches wide by 3-1/4 inches tall.
There are also a number of non-standard sizes that have been used for special releases and promotional items. These include jumbo cards that are often given away at stadiums, mini cards that are about half the size of a standard card, and oversized cards that can be as large as 6 inches by 9 inches.
Mini Cards
Mini baseball cards are a lot like normal-sized baseball cards, but they’re smaller. They’re usually about 2 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. That’s about the size of a credit card.
