Seth Curry is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Liberty University and Duke University. He is the older brother of Stephen Curry.

Seth Curry was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2009 NBA draft. He played for the Hornets for two seasons before being traded to the Golden State Warriors in 2011. He has been with the Warriors ever since, winning an NBA championship in 2015. He is currently in his eighth season in the NBA.

Seth Curry was signed by the Sacramento Kings on September 25, 2013. He was assigned to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League on December 21, 2013. He was recalled on January 10, 2014, and made his NBA debut that day, scoring four points in limited minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He appeared in 20 games for Sacramento as a rookie, averaging 2.4 points and 0.4 assists per game.
On July 23, 2014, Curry was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for rights to overseas players Arturas Gudaitis and Luka Mitrović. On February 19, 2015, he was waived by the Sixers after appearing in just two games for them. Three days later, he signed a multi-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans. On April 1, 2015, he made his Pelicans debut against his former team, the Kings. In doing so, he became just the second player in NBA history to play for four teams in a single season (the other being Joe Caldwell).
Curry had a breakout season in 2015–16 as he earned a spot in the Pelicans’ rotation and increased his scoring average to 10 points per game while shooting 45% from three-point range. He proved to be especially effective when playing alongside All-Star Anthony Davis, as their two-man combination outscored opponents by 16 points per 100 possessions (the best mark on the team).
Curry continued to improve during the 2016–17 season as he averaged career highs of 12.8 points and 2.7 assists per game while shooting an impressive 49% from three-point range. He once again played well alongside Davis; among two-man combinations that played at least 500 minutes together during the season, only two had a better plus-minus than Curry and Davis (+9.3).

Seth Curry played college basketball for three years at Davidson College from 2009 to 2012. He was a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year and led Davidson to the NCAA tournament all three years he was there. After his junior year, he decided to forgo his senior year and declared for the NBA draft.
