The AL consists of the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays. The NL has the Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs,. National League

The National League of Professional Baseball Clubs, commonly known as the National League (NL), is the older of two leagues constituting Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States and Canada. Founded on February 2, 1876, to replace the National Association of Base Ball Players (NABBP) of 1871–1875, the NL is sometimes called the Senior Circuit, in contrast to MLB’s other league, the American League, which was founded 25 years later.

At the end of every season, the winning team in each divisional playoff series plays against each other in the League Championship Series (LCS). TheLCS winner then advances to play the winner of baseball’s other playoff series—the American League Championship Series—in baseball’s final series:the World Series.

Minor League Baseball

There are many baseball teams in the United States. There are the Major League Baseball teams, which are the most popular, but there are also Minor League Baseball teams. These teams are not as well-known, but they are still a large part of the baseball world. In this article, we will take a look at Minor League Baseball and how it works.

Triple-A

Triple-A or Class AAA is the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States and Mexico. Before 2008, Triple-A leagues also fielded teams in Canada. A total of 30 Triple-A teams play in the United States and Mexico as of 2019. The Mexican League was upgraded to Triple-A status for the 2004 season.

Double-A

All of the teams in Minor League Baseball are affiliated with a major league team. Depending on their location and how well they are doing, minor league teams play in different levels.

Double-A is the second level of Minor League Baseball. There are 30 Double-A teams in the United States, divided into two leagues: the Eastern League and the Southern League. The Texas League and the Mexican League are also considered to be Double-A, even though they have different structures and play at a lower level than the Eastern and Southern Leagues.

Players at the Double-A level are usually close to being ready for the major leagues, but they may need more development time or may not be quite good enough to play in the majors yet.

Single-A

There are three levels of Minor League Baseball, which includes Single-A, Double-A, and Triple-A.

Single-A is the lowest level of the Minor Leagues. There are two Single-A leagues, which are the South Atlantic League and the Midwest League. The South Atlantic League has 14 teams, while the Midwest League has 16 teams.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) teams that are affiliated with a Single-A team are usually looking to develop their young prospects or draft picks. Players at this level are usually 19 to 22 years old.

Rookie Ball

Rookie Ball is the lowest level of professional baseball. There are three Rookie Leagues in the United States, the Gulf Coast League, Arizona League, and Appalachian League. In addition, there is a Dominican Summer League and a Venezuelan Summer League, which are both operated by Major League Baseball.

Players in Rookie ball are either recently signed high school or college draftees who are not ready to play at the higher level yet, or international players who have been signed to a professional contract. The season starts in June and ends in September. Rookie ball teams play a maximum of 76 games during the season.
