Tyreek Hill was born on March 5, 1994, in Lauderhill, Florida. He attended West Virginia University, where he played football and ran track. In 2014, his freshman year, Hill was named a Sporting News All-American as a kick returner. He set the school single-season record for kickoff return yards with 1,657. As a junior in 2015, he had 61 receptions for 1,059 yards and seven touchdowns. He also ran the 100-meter dash in 10.19 seconds.
