How old are all the WWE wrestlers? Here’s a list of their ages.
The McMahon Family
The McMahon family has been involved in the world of professional wrestling for generations. The patriarch of the family, Vince McMahon Sr., founded the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) in 1963. His son, Vince McMahon Jr., took over the company in 1982 and renamed it World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
The McMahons are one of the most famous wrestling families in the world. Vince McMahon Jr. is the current WWE Chairman and CEO, while his wife Linda McMahon is the current President and Chief Brand Officer. Their daughter Stephanie McMahon is the current WWE Chief Brand Officer and their son-in-law Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H, is the current Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative.
The family also has a number of other relatives who are involved in the wrestling business, including Shane McMahon, Vince’s brother, who is a former WWE Executive Vice President, and Stephanie’s husband Paul Levesque (Triple H), who is currently an Executive Vice President in WWE.
The Founding Fathers
The Founding Fathers of WWE are the original wrestlers who started with the company when it was founded in 1963. These wrestlers include Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, and Gorilla Monsoon.
The Attitude Era
The Attitude Era was a period in professional wrestling characterized by an increase in mature content. This occurred during the late 1990s and early 2000s within the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It was marked by a greater emphasis on graphic violence, adult humor, sexual content and storylines featuring wrestlers in character development instead of traditional babyface and heel dynamics.
The Ruthless Aggression Era
The Ruthless Aggression Era was a period in WWE history that began in 2002 and ended in 2008. This era is considered to be one of the most successful and popular periods in WWE history, with many iconic superstars and moments.
Some of the most popular wrestlers during this era included John Cena, Batista, Edge, Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Brock Lesnar. This era was also marked by the introduction of newer stars such as Randy Orton, CM Punk, and Sheamus.
Many of the wrestlers from this era are still active today, although some have retired or been released by WWE.
The Reality Era
The Reality Era is a term used in professional wrestling to describe the period of time starting in late 2013, after WWE’s purge of talent from their main roster, and continues into the present day. The era is marked by an increased focus on athletes and competition, as opposed to the previously dominant entertainment style of storylines and gimmicks.
While the Reality Era began in late 2013, its roots can be traced back even further to WWE’s decision toformer ECW brand Manager Paul Heyman in 2006. Heyman was brought in with the intention of making ECW a more serious and competitive brand, in contrast to the other two brands at the time, Raw and SmackDown!, which were more focused on entertainment. This change in philosophy would eventually make its way to WWE’s main roster programming.
The New Era
The New Era is the current era in WWE. It began on July 19, 2016, after WWE brand extension. This is the second brand extension in WWE history and the first since 2002. It effectively ended The Attitude Era.
