Blank was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She began her professional modeling career at the age of 16 after winning a modeling contest. Later, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and modeling.
In 2006, Blank was signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She made her television debut on the June 13, 2006 episode of ECW as a backstage interviewer. In 2007, she began wrestling as part of WWE’sRaw brand. In June 2011, she left WWE and retired from professional wrestling.

In 2006, Kelly Kelly left her home in Florida and moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in modelling and acting. While there, she met some friends who were also aspiring models and actresses, one of whom was Sandy Garza. The two were signed by the same modelling agency, and Garza introduced Kelly Kelly to her brother, WWE wrestler Matt Hardy, who then helped her secure a tryout with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She was subsequently signed to a developmental contract with WWE and assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), their developmental territory.
She made her OVW television debut under the ring name “Kelly Kelly” on July 2, 2006, in a vignette promoting her forthcoming debut. She debuted on OVW television on July 16 at the 2006 Saturday Night’s Main Event taping in a segment called the “Kelly Kelly Bedtime Stories”, where she seductively read a fairytale to children. She quickly began appearing in more sexually provocative vignettes, such as going onto all fours while singing the nursery rhyme “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.

Kelly Kelly has been married to former NHL player Sheldon Souray since February 2016. The couple have one daughter together, born in May 2017.
