Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984. He joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1989. After WCW was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in 2001, he remained with the company until his retirement in 2013. The Undertaker is the storyline half-brother of fellow WWE wrestler Kane, with whom he has alternately feuded and teamed with as The Brothers of Destruction.
The Undertaker has wrestled at fourteen WrestleManias: WM VII, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX, XXI, XXVI and XXVII; he headlined eight of them (WM 13(2), 14(2), 17(2), 20(3)) more than any other superstar in history. His first WrestleMania win came at WM VII over Jim Duggan; his most recent was at WM XXVI over Shawn Michaels to break their longstanding feud. Among other accomplishments within WWE’s “The Grandaddy of Them All”, The Undertaker has won the WWE Championship three times and the World Heavyweight Championship four times. He is a five-time Tag Team Champion within WWE (two World Tag Team Championships and three WWE Tag Team Championships). Furthermore he is a two-time USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion as well as a one-time USWA Texas Heavyweight Champion before signing with WCW in 1989 where he also became a one-time WCW World Tag Team Champion along with Stan Lane.
