How to Cast From the NFL App

Find out how to cast games from the NFL app on your mobile device or tablet to your TV.
Open the NFL app on your phone
The first step is to open the NFL app on your phone. If you haven’t already downloaded it, you can get it for free from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Once you have the app open, tap on the menu icon in the top right corner of the screen (it looks like three stacked lines). This will open up a side menu with a number of options.
Tap on the “Live” option near the top of this menu. This will take you to a page with all of the live games that are currently being aired.
Find the game that you want to watch and tap on it. This will take you to a page with more information about the game.
At the bottom of this page, there will be a “Watch” button. Tap on this button and then choose whether you want to watch through your cable provider or through NFL Game Pass (if you have a subscription).
Go to the game you want to watch
Open the NFL app on your device and go to the game you want to watch. You’ll see three options for watching:
-Live: Watch the game live as it’s happening.
-Replays: Catch up on games you missed with highlights and recaps.
-Condensed: Watch a condensed version of the game that’s about 30 minutes long.
Tap on the “Watch Live” or “Replays” button. If you select “Replays,” you may be prompted to choose between the full game or condensed version.
Tap the “Cast” icon in the top right corner
To cast from the NFL app, make sure you have the latest version of the app installed on your device. Then, tap the “Cast” icon in the top right corner of the app.
Once you’ve tapped the “Cast” icon, select your Chromecast device from the list of available devices. Then, choose whether you want to cast the video to your TV or another screen.
Once you’ve made your selection, the video will start playing on your TV or other screen.

Open the NFL app on your mobile device.
Tap on the cast icon in the top right corner of the screen.
A list of available devices will populate. Select the device you would like to cast to.
Once connected, you will be able to choose from any live game or NFL RedZone compatible game to watch on your TV.
