Start your game in MyCareer mode.
From the main menu, select “MyCareer” to start your player’s journey to becoming a WWE Superstar. You will be taken through the creation process, where you can choose your player’s appearance, entrance, and other key characteristics. Once you have created your character, you will be able to play through the story mode called “MyCareer.”
In order to become a WWE Superstar in WWE 2K17, you will need to win a match at WrestleMania. There are a few different ways to get to WrestleMania in MyCareer mode. You can either earn your way there by winning matches and becoming a top contender, or you can be directly invited by WWE management. If you are invited by WWE management, you will need to complete a series of matches before being allowed to participate in the WrestleMania match itself.
From the “Options” menu, select the ” MyCareer” option. You will be given the choice to start a new career or continue an existing one. If you have not already created a Superstar, you will be prompted to do so now. Otherwise, your existing Superstars will be listed here for you to choose from.
Scroll down to the “WWE 2K17” option, and select it.
Upon starting your game, you will have several different game types to choose from. Scroll down to the “WWE 2K17” option, and select it. After the loading screen, you will be placed in front of a poster for the latest WWE PPV event. Press X/A to continue. You will then see a montage of various WWE superstars. Press X/A again when prompted. The next screen will give you the option to start a new game or resume an old one. Choose “New Game.”
