How to Get Your NBA 2K20 Player Back

It’s been a few days since the release of NBA 2K20, and some players are still having trouble getting their MyPLAYERs back. Here’s a quick guide on how to get your player back if you’re one of the affected players.

Go to the main menu

From the main menu, go to “MyTEAM.” Scroll over to “MyPLAYER” and select it. From there, choose the option to “scan your face” using the PlayStation Camera or Xbox Kinect. If you’re having trouble finding this option, consult your game manual or the help menu in-game.

Select “Options”

In order to get your player back, you’ll need to go into the game’s “Options” menu. From there, select the ” Mycareer” option, and then choose the “Load/Delete Save” option. This will bring up a list of save files on your system; simply select the most recent save file, and then choose “Load.”

Select “Quit”

If you’ve lost your NBA 2K20 player, there’s a chance you can get them back by simply quitting the game. To do this, select “Quit” from the main menu, then “Quit to Desktop.” Your player should still be in the game’s files and you can try reloading from there.

Confirm that you want to quit

Before you can get your NBA 2K20 player back, you need to be sure that you want to quit the game. To do this, open the “Options” menu in the game and select the “Quit” option. This will bring up a confirmation dialog asking if you are sure that you want to quit the game. Select “Yes” to confirm that you want to quit.

Wait for the game to save

Once you’ve killed your player, the first thing you need to do is wait for the game to save. Depending on what game mode you were playing, this could take a few minutes. You can tell the game is saving because a notification will pop up in the top right corner of the screen that says “Saving…”

Once the game has saved, quit out of NBA 2K20 and restart the game. When you start the game back up, you should be prompted to load your last save. If you are not prompted to load your last save, go to the “MyCareer” tab and select “Load Game.”

From here, you should be able to continue your career without any problems.

Close the game

To get your NBA 2K20 player back, you will first need to close the game. This can be done by exiting to the main menu, or by quitting the game entirely. Once the game is closed, you will need to restart it. Upon restarting, you should see a message indicating that your player has been restored.

Restart the game

One way to try and get your NBA 2K20 player back is to restart the game. To do this, simply close the game and relaunch it. This will sometimes fix the issue and allows you to continue playing with your player. If this does not work, you can try force quitting the game and relaunching it. To force quit an app on a Mac, press Command + Option + Esc. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the Home button. On an iPhone X or later, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold until you see the App Switcher. Find the app that you want to close, then swipe up on its preview pane to close it.
