Introduction
F1® Esports is the official competitive simulation series of the FIA Formula One World Championship. Launched in September 2017, this uses the official F1® game title to create competitions that are open to all, combining state of the art gaming technology with race management systems used by real-world motorsport organisations.

The Pro Series features three race events, each consisting of two Grands Prix races. The first race event will take place at a virtual Bahrain International Circuit, followed by races at a virtual Suzuka International Racing Course and then finally at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The finale will be a double header GP held at Interlagos.

The Challenger Series provides aspiring racers with a path into Formula 1® Esports for those that have what it takes to compete with – and beat – some of the world’s best drivers. It is open to everyone aged 16 or over who owns a copy of the F1® game* on PC, PlayStation®4 or Xbox One**. You will also need an internet connection and an active Steam®, PlayStation® Network or Xbox Live account in order to take part.
*An annual DLC pass is required in order to compete online – this can be bought through Steam®, PlayStation Store or Xbox Games Store

What is F1 Esports?
In its simplest form, F1 Esports is professional racing drivers competing against each other in a virtual version of an Formula One car. The cars are identical to their real-world counterparts, and the tracks are modelled on real-world circuits.
The drivers compete in a series of races, which are run over a number of weeks or months. The races are held in different locations around the world, and the drivers accumulate points based on their finishing position in each race.
