What is F1 Esports?

In its simplest form, F1 Esports is professional racing drivers competing against each other in a virtual version of an Formula One car. The cars are identical to their real-world counterparts, and the tracks are modelled on real-world circuits.

The drivers compete in a series of races, which are run over a number of weeks or months. The races are held in different locations around the world, and the drivers accumulate points based on their finishing position in each race. At the end of the season, the driver with the most points is crowned the champion.

F1 Esports has been running for two years now, and has seen some of the best racing drivers in the world go head-to-head. The championship is accredited by Formula One, and is run in partnership with one of the sport’s biggest sponsors, DHL.
