How to Play WWE Raw 2007 is a game that is based on the WWE wrestling entertainment franchise. The game was developed by Yuke’s and published by THQ. It is the eighth installment in the WWE SmackDown Vs. Raw (now simply WWE) series, and a direct sequel to 2006’s WWE SmackDown Vs. Raw 2006.

The game is based on the professional wrestling promotion WWE, and calendar year 2007. It is the eighth annual installment of the WWE Raw series and features current WWE wrestlers from both the Raw and SmackDown! brands at the time.
Gameplay

The game features a gameplay system similar to that of the previous games in the series.
Controls
WWE Raw 2007 for the Xbox 360 uses a control scheme similar to that seen in every WWE game released since 2006. The face buttons are used to punch, Irish whip and grapple; while the right trigger performs a Grapple Break and the left trigger taunts. Taunting can also be done by double-tapping up or down on the d-pad. Another new feature for this game is the ability to store up to four different grapple moves, which can be executed by using the d-pad in conjunction with the face buttons or triggers.
Game Modes
WWE Raw 2007 features several different game modes for players to choose from. The most popular mode is the Season mode, which simulates a full year of WWE programming, including monthly pay-per-view events. Players can create their own WWE superstar and compete against other created wrestlers or real-life WWE superstars.
Other modes include the General Manager mode, in which players take on the role of a WWE General Manager and must manage all aspects of their brand, including building up talent and booking matches. There is also a Tag Team mode, in which players team up with another superstar to take on another tag team, as well as a Cage Match mode, in which players must escape from a steel cage to win the match.

There are a total of 28 superstars in the game. 26 of which can be unlocked through normal gameplay, with the final two being available as downloadable content. The full list of superstars is as follows:
Roster
The game features a roster of 80 WWE wrestlers 20 of which are hidden and must be unlocked. The remaining 60 are divided evenly among the Raw, ECW, and SmackDown! brands. In addition to the 60 “Superstars”, the game features 26 “Legends”, most of whom were active during the 1980s and early 1990s. The PlayStation 2 version also includes 10 additional Legends who are not available on other platforms.
Create-A-Superstar
In WWE Raw 2007, you can create your own superstar to play as in the game. You can choose from a variety of preset superstar models, or you can create your own custom superstar by choosing their gender, hairstyle, facial features, clothing, and body type. You can also decide what kind of superstar you want them to be – a good guy (a “babyface”), a bad guy (a “heel”), or somewhere in between (a “tweener”).
