When Is the NFL Draft?

NFL Draft Round 1 Order and Start Time
The 2021 NFL Draft order is set and the first round will begin on April 29 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC and the NFL Network. Live updates will also be available on ESPN.com’s NFL Draft Tracker.
The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the No. 1 overall pick for the second consecutive year and are expected to take quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the top selection. The New York Jets, who own the No. 2 pick, are widely expected to select Brigham Young University quarterback Zach Wilson at No. 2 overall.
The first round of the NFL Draft will consist of 32 picks, with each team having one selection in each of the first 21 slots. The Kansas City Chiefs, who won Super Bowl LV, will have the 32nd and final pick of Round 1 as a result of their championship victory.
